Ballet Performance...

Pictures from my ballet performance last evening.

So Here It Is....

.... Merry Christmas, everybody's having fun....
Some of the Christmas art done by the children at my school.

A Couple More For The Year...

An award for "wonderful writing" and one for "lovely labelling and drawing." Must be doing something right at school, then!

Super Hero!

We have been having a "Superhero" theme during the school term. Not sure whose bright idea it was to cast me as superman/woman but one has to play along with the wishes of the teachers!

Art...

This is a picture I did of a dog and my favourite soft toy, pink bunny.

King Of Limbs...

Went walking in Savernake Forest a few weekends ago. We saw the famous tree named "The King Of Limbs." It is thought to be 1,000 years old - older in fact than England. Here I am with Wilf and Billy and Eddie Seymour and Eve and Dan Wilson. Eve and Wilf are in my class at school.

When The Saints Go Marching In....

As the summer drew to a close I went to my first football match at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton. I saw Southampton's U21 team play Chelsea U21s. I think the Saints lost but it was good to go and see what all the fuss about football is. I am a bit undecided about how serious to be about this game. I think I prefer gym and ballet at the moment or just working on some art project but you never know, things might change. My mum can always live in hope!

Endless Summer!

Had a wonderful time under a French mid-Atlantic sun. We were joined by aunt Linda and friends from Iceland. Surfing is a lifestyle I could get used to!

Birthday Number Five!

And a beautiful day it was too! Sun shone, good fun, games and laughter and best of all, plenty of presents.

School's Out!

Last day of school and Eve and I are mucking about on the Story Chair at our school, Vernham Dean Primary. It was hot and about to get hotter as a few days later I went to France with my mum and dad and aunt Linda.

Paulton's Park...

This is my friends Dan and Eve Wilson. My dad and their dad took us to Paulton's Park - an amusement park that also hosts Peppa Pig World. It was very hot, fun-packed day while our mummies were hundreds of miles away struggling with their heavy backpacks hiking the Landmannlaugar trail in Iceland. Good luck to that! I know where I would rather be!!

Britain's Got Talent!

Actually, Willow class - my class at school. I got this "Talent Certificate" for creating and explaining pictures that I made during lessons.

And It Was All Yellow..

At the same time the Bluebells are in bloom the Rapeseed flowers and blesses us with its bright yellow show. Again, it doesn't flower for long so you have to enjoy it while it lasts.

Bluebell Belle!

There's a certain time of the year, at the tail end of spring and just before the dawn of summer that the woods bloom with a blanket of bowing bluebells. This awesome display doesn't last long before they seem to disappear as quickly as they came. But while they are out they are a joy to see.

Just Another of Many!

This time for looking after a younger child that was visiting the school as a prelude to starting in the Autumn. I think they just about summed up my personality pretty well with this award!

Twins!

My twin cousins Adalbjorg and Sigrun from Iceland came to stay with us late spring/beginning of summer as part of their trip around Europe by rail. Here they are visiting Stonehenge, which is just a few miles from where I live.

Winter Beach!

Sometimes my mum and dad take me to the beach - even in winter! I don't mind though. It's fun to play on the sand and fill buckets of water even if it means my feet do turn blue!

The Little Ballerina!

As the year progressed I continued to attend ballet class. More about that later.

Pippi Longstocking!

We were allowed to go to school dressed as a our favourite character from literature. Naturally, I went as Pippi Longstocking!

My Turn!

So, I found this new way of communicating back in February 2013. Actually, the 23rd of that month if we are going to be precise. Dad and Granddad were watching television and I wanted to watch my programs on tv. Dad said that I had to wait while they finished watching what they were watching. But I didn't want to wait so I went and wrote them this note and thrust it at my dad. He was so flabbergasted that I would think to communicate in this manner and more so that he didn't know I could write a sentence like this. So I got a few words wrong but I was only 4 and a half when I did this. Dad let me watch my program!
