Achiever of the Week!

I was presented with "The Achiever Of The Week" award at my school recently. I got it for "starting to play with a variety of friends." I had, in all honesty, tended to play with just Eve but when she went to Finland on holiday for a few days I began playing with a lot of the other children. The teacher had told my mummy that Eve and I were "like glue!"
The boy also being presented with an achiever award is my friend and classmate Archie. Also, Archie has just moved into our village - so I can play with him as often as I like.

Another Disney Princess?

Went out with the girls the other day!

Matilda Meercat!

I went to Marwell Zoo a few weeks ago where some Meercats asked me to join their gang. Also met some penguins.

Fete Paint...

Towards the end of the summer me, mummy and daddy went to the Longparish village fete where I finally realised one of my ambitions - to get my face painted!

First Day Of School...

How exciting! Started "big school" on September 4th. My school is called Vernham Dean Gillums and I have to wear my school uniform every day. I have made many new friends and started to learn to read and do numbers and letters and do lots of artistic things and go on school trips and play. This is me on my first day and with my friend Eve and her brother Daniel who is in the year above us.

For Daddy!

I made a card and a cake for my daddy's birthday. He was very happy!

On The Beach...

I went to France for my summer holiday again this year. Took my tutu for a spot of beach ballet and met the usual crowd including the Willis family from Pensacola, Florida - my old buddy Steve, his wife Darlene, and grown-up children Hannah and Aaron, who you see in the photo taken at dusk on the beach with me. Gorgeous weather, lots of fun things to do at the beach and pool and of course great to share it with such nice people, especially my new buddy Stan and his lovely wife, Linda. Stan taught me some magic tricks.

Birthday Girl!

I celebrated my 4th birthday and threw a party. I got to dress up in my party dress, eat all kinds of goodies and play with my friends in the warm sunshine. I am very grateful to all my kind friends and relatives that gave me a present. This is my friend Eve. We are best friends and go to the same school and take the same ballet class together.

At The Movies...

Went to the cinema for the first time back in the summer. We saw Ice Age 4 at the Vue Cinema Multiplex Cinema in Basingstoke. Here I am with my daddy and a box of popcorn.

Olympic Torch...

The Olympic Torch passed through the town of Andover and of course I showed up with my Nanna to fly the flag.

Cup Cakes!

Summer is a time of fetes in England. This photo was taken at Vernham Dean village fete where I made some delicious cup cakes - wearing my tiara!

The Beautiful South...

...of France.
The Cote D'Azure, to be precise - La Londe/Hyeres to be even more specific. Sunshine and warm temperatures every day meant i spent a lot of time in the pool or at the beach. We even took a trip into the mountains to the Gorges Du Verdon and me and mummy and daddy rented a boat and went exploring. It was so relaxing, I fell asleep while sitting at the bow of the boat.

Finkley and Fete

Well, with the summer bursting into colour it was time to go to Finkley Down Farm for the day and go to the annual Hatherden Fete. Excuse me for wearing the same dress on both occasions - it's one of my current favourites!

Easter in Iceland

We spent Easter in Iceland this year catching up with friends and family. Highlights of the trip were riding an Icelandic horse, spending some time in the great outdoors at my daddy's friend Jonsi's summer house in Kjos, eating Easter eggs with Tryggvi, playing with Askar the dog, and spending time with all my lovely relatives. The weather wasn't great!

No Fear!

Now that's what I call a swing! The minute I saw it I just knew I had to have a go. We found this down near the pier at Bournemouth Beach back in February. After getting strapped-in it was up, up, and away as the elastic ropes bounced me high into the sky and down before bouncing straight back up again. This was fun!

Almost Famous!

Matilda Movie Star!

Not quite a contender for a Best Foreign Film Oscar but it is my mummy's directorial debut!

Dress Appropriately!

It's been very cold this month, we even had some snow as my movie about making snowmen showed. So, you have to wear warm clothes and that's why I wear this dress made from Icelandic wool that Amma knitted for me. I've had it for more than a year but it still fits.

Ballet Belles!

This is a photo of me and my fellow ballerinas at our ballet class. I go once a week and have so much fun.

Icelandic Christmas in Sweden!

We went to Sweden to celebrate Christmas with my Amma and Afi and auntie Linda. We always eat Icelandic food such as specially imported lamb and smoked meat and drink malt and appelsin. I always have a nice time, especially playing with Depill the dog and eating Amma's homemade cookies and ice-cream. My cousins Amanda and Emma and uncle Steinni came down to stay with us for a few days and it was fun to play with them.

Drama Queen!

Here is a photo of me in costume for my first big dramatic production! Well, of course I'm good at staging quite a few little dramas even on a daily basis and my mum sometin=mes says I'm a drama queen but this was my first professional role for the Christmas play at my nursery school.
