...It's Off to work I go.
It's great to be out in the garden with Spring in the air.
Thought I would do a bit of sweeping. Winter had left a load of dead leaves on the patio. Good to get the place looking tidy. Anyway, thought I would earn a few brownie points with my Granddad!

Saint Erla!
My mum, dad and grandad went to Wembley Stadium to see Southampton beat Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final last Sunday.
Apparently, it was a football game and Southampton is the team that I support - or so my dad tells me. Well if that's true, then why didn't he take me?
Dad says there were almost 74,000 people there which is an unbelievable crowd to watch two teams from the third division. What other country in the world would you get that amount of people at a game involving two teams from the third tier of football?
While the mighty Saints were giving their opponents the run-around I was busy doing the same to my Grandma. I bet she slept good on Sunday night after all that activity.
Boxing Day!
We have moved! After a lot of blood, sweat and tears (my dad's) we boxed and packed all our belongings, put them in a container and shipped it to England and said our goodbyes to Iceland. I didn't really like all that packing - I liked the boxes but every time I put something in one my mum or dad took it out again. In the end, I felt my contribution wasn't really being appreciated so I gave up and let them get on with it.

Egg Hunt
Went on my first Easter Egg Hunt this morning. I found three, well, actually I found four but we were only allowed to collect three so that there would be some left for all the other kids to find. I was able to exchange my eggs for a chocolate easter egg and a balloon. I am hoping that my Grandma and Grandad in England will have some easter eggs for me. Hello? Grandma, are you reading?

Snow Joke!

It seems these days are an eternity away - when all you have is snow, snow and more snow. I thought we had seen the last of it this year - I had my fair share in Sweden over Christmas and the New Year before landing in England where they had the most snow in thirty years. I went back to Iceland on February 2 and was pleasantly surprised. No snow! But it couldn't last - and it didn't. Three weeks later and Reykjavik and the south-west gets well and truly dumped on. Of course, dad insists that we go out to the coffee house in the afternoon and to be honest I'm glad to get out of the apartment - I think we are both getting cabin fever. But, c'mon, let's get on with Spring can't we? Dad says I only have to tough it out for another few weeks then he'll take me to France. He better not let me down! I've got my heart set on dipping my toes in the Mediterranean.

A Model Child
Don't think I mentioned it but a photographer friend of my mum and dad took some pictures of me while I was in Sweden last Christmas.
Not sure if I could ever be a model, too much standing around waiting and being asked to look here and there and stand here then there. Besides, I'm always having a bad-hair day! Modeling, not really my thing.

My White Christmas
Snow, snow and more snow! Just when I thought I had seen all the snow I needed to see in Sweden during my Christmas and New Year holiday, I get back to England and there is more of it - apparently the most in 30 years! But I don't mind, it's been kinda fun sledding and building snowmen.
I spent three weeks in Sweden staying at my Amma and Afi's place in Boras. I also went on a train to Orebro, about three hours away where there was even more snow. We celebrated Christmas Eve there with my uncle Steini, aunt Lisa, cousins Emma and Amanda and my aunt Linda. Depil the dog also came with us and he was able to visit his brother and mummy. My mum and dad took me out on a sled which is great fun. It was very cold in Sweden, sometimes it was -18 degrees - most days it was -10.
And on the day we flew back to England, Heathrow was closed because of all the snow they had in England and we had to wait until we were allowed to take off from Gothenburg. Then, when we were allowed to go, the plane taxied to the runway and then returned to the gate due to a technical fault - we had to wait four more hours for a new plane to arrive. Eventually, we arrived at Heathrow where my Grandma and Grandad was waiting for me. As well as more snow! I've settled back into my old routine of watching dvds, going to the Teddy tumblers Club and Creepy Crawlers playtime.
Oh yeah! Happy New Year to all my readers!
