Cool Pool!
With the lovely warm and sunny weather we had in England on my return from France it wasn't long before I was back in the pool. Well, the paddling pool! But who cares if it didn't give me the opportunity to do a few laps, it has been a great way to cool down and enjoy the start of summer.

Matilda Soleil!
Just back from a month of sunning on the French Riviera. Plenty of beach trips, pool-time, fresh fruit, baguettes and just as toasty weather.
And the scenery! Wow! Which even from the vantage point of my car seat as we meandered along the shining coastline from St Tropez to Toulon, was just breathtaking.
I can't wait to go back again to feel the warm sun that turns my skin brown and my hair golden and the sea-lapped sand beneath my feet.
Oh to be serenaded by the chorus of cicadas and take in the sweet and smokey scent of the Pin de Parasol pines! I could move there in a heartbeat. Dad, can we?

Easter By The Sea...
I had a great Easter Sunday, a real "Old Blighty" experience! It started with a ride on a miniature steam train at Moors Country Park at Ringwood before going to the seaside at Bournemouth. I went with my mum and dad and my Grandma and Grandad. We had fish and chips for lunch, went for a walk on the beach where I built a few sandcastles with my new bucket and spade and waded into the sea a little bit. After that my mum took me for a ride on a carousel horse before we all went home. But that wasn't the end of my treats for the day. When I got back to my Grandma and Grandad's place I had a few Easter Eggs and presents waiting for me - including the Icelandic Easter Egg that I won at the Egg Hunt I told you about.
Hi Ho, Hi Ho...
...It's Off to work I go.
It's great to be out in the garden with Spring in the air.
Thought I would do a bit of sweeping. Winter had left a load of dead leaves on the patio. Good to get the place looking tidy. Anyway, thought I would earn a few brownie points with my Granddad!

Saint Erla!
My mum, dad and grandad went to Wembley Stadium to see Southampton beat Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final last Sunday.
Apparently, it was a football game and Southampton is the team that I support - or so my dad tells me. Well if that's true, then why didn't he take me?
Dad says there were almost 74,000 people there which is an unbelievable crowd to watch two teams from the third division. What other country in the world would you get that amount of people at a game involving two teams from the third tier of football?
While the mighty Saints were giving their opponents the run-around I was busy doing the same to my Grandma. I bet she slept good on Sunday night after all that activity.
Boxing Day!
We have moved! After a lot of blood, sweat and tears (my dad's) we boxed and packed all our belongings, put them in a container and shipped it to England and said our goodbyes to Iceland. I didn't really like all that packing - I liked the boxes but every time I put something in one my mum or dad took it out again. In the end, I felt my contribution wasn't really being appreciated so I gave up and let them get on with it.

Egg Hunt
Went on my first Easter Egg Hunt this morning. I found three, well, actually I found four but we were only allowed to collect three so that there would be some left for all the other kids to find. I was able to exchange my eggs for a chocolate easter egg and a balloon. I am hoping that my Grandma and Grandad in England will have some easter eggs for me. Hello? Grandma, are you reading?
