Beautiful Beaulieu...

Last Sunday we went to the UK's newest National Park, Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest. Beaulieu is also Britain's most visited stately home and hosts The National Motor Museum, Palace House - home of the Montagu family, the ancient ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, The World of Top Gear and a James Bond Exhibition. It also has wonderful grounds and flower gardens to walk amidst - and with the warm and sunny spring everything was awash with colour. I especially enjoyed the monorail ride and the Ice Cream Cottage but the old cars in the museum, while very interesting for dad, weren't really my thing so I found my own car to drive at the children's play area. Afterwards we drove into the New Forest where the ponies and cows roam free.

Hi Matilda, its been a long time. How are you? I see you have been busy exploring a lot of fun things since we last spoke. Kite flying, ice skating, pony riding and the motor museum... WOW! You have to take me there one day. I love cars. Life is great in Dalvik although we had snow storm this morning...yea, its supposed to be summer... at least spring time. I don´t get it. Well Im going out to make a snow-man. Say hello to your daddy, Mike n Alice and give your mommy a birthday kiss from all of us here in snowy, but lovely Dalvik. Your friend, Tryggvi
